About the Assam Arogya Nidhi Scheme
Assam Arogya Nidhi is a yearly financial assistance scheme offering medical reimbursement to families earning less than ₹5 lakhs per year. It covers serious diseases & accident cases, ensuring financial support for critical healthcare needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Permanent resident of Assam.
- Family income below ₹5 lakhs per annum.
- No age limit.
- Not a Govt. employee/pensioner.
- Family members of Govt employee/pensioner not eligible.
- Treatment at approved hospitals & medical colleges only.
Application Process
- Step 1 : Download the application form
- Step 2 : Attach all required documents (ID proof, medical bills, income proof, photograph, prescription, discharge summary, etc)
- Step 3 : Submit application to the Principals/Superintendents of the Medical College & Hospitals
- Step 4 : Expert Committee reviews & approves applications.
- Step 5 : Financial aid is transferred directly to your bank
